After being here on this forum after some time, I believe most of us here favor Avira or Kaspersky as our antivirus software...but now I would like to know which one you guys prefer between the two - Avira or Kaspersky??? If possible, please do not consider price factor...just make a choice and vote based on ease of use, detection rates, false positives, etc...
P.S. I tried searching if this was done before in this forum but apparently no...

Avira, They offer a free version unlike Kaspersky.

If i had considered price factor, then i would have gone for avira since they offer a free version...
But as you said price is not to be considered and only the detection rate is to be considered, i vote for Kaspersky...

For the price, I would go with Avira Premium.
For the detection rates. I would go with Avira Premium.
For the ease of use. I would go with Kaspersky.
For the minimum system requirement. I would go with Avira Premium.

Avira, 'cause is lighter in memory usage, there are many Avira premium free promotions, it has a very good detection rate and it's very easy to use

Avira and NOD32 is all I would ever use, I don't even look at Kaspersky, truth be told.

Me too...I haven't tried Kaspersky of yet...I did try installing it before but faced some installation problems...as for now I just can't let go of Avira on my PC..
P.S. Seems that we have more Avira supporters here currently...where are the Kaspersky fans???
