Partition Table corrupted
Hi All,
I am a new rookies to this forum and would need some advice on my problematic harddisk.
Based on my diagnose, it might be due to a partition table corrupted, as this harddisk is my secondary harddisk (500G) that i use for downloading my torrent and for data purpose.
It can be access to show the directory of the all the folders, but when i try to copy / transfer the files and folder it failed.
I have tried ontrack recovery software but not successful to recover any data. May I know is there any freeware that would fix partition table corruption?
Many Thanks and appreciation for your help in advanced.

Have you tested the HDD? What brand is it?

Since it is a Seagate, go straight to Seagate's site and download SeaTools. Read the info at their site.
