usb problem

I got a pen drive.. (transcend 4GB)....But i cant upload more than 1.75(+/-)GB... After exceeding 1.75(+/-)GB.. it shows error that "the disk is write protected......................"

I can easily upload to carry below 1.75(+/-)GB...

* I have formatted it several times in several pc, but cant reach to an end of this problem..
