If I use Kruptos 2 Encryption Tool, can I put password for my documents? I don't understand how this thing works.

Can I run Prevent together with Kruptos 2 Encryption Tool?

What happen if my documents is on D drive and my C drive is being reformatted, can someone still copy my files and open my files even wihtout Prevent and Kruptos 2 Encryption Tool install on my C drive?

Can I edit my documents after installing Preven?
Thoughts are like a never ending ocean where it is deep, endless and dangerous

    - If Preven tool cannot install on your system. Your data still can copy, cut... to another pc. you must install Preven on system to protect data.
    - If you install Preven you will know hot key to stop Preven and edit your data. to resume just type hot key again. I think it's simple to do that.

I am planning to use AxCrypt. But I have two question.

    1. Is it portable?
    2. I save my sensitive file on D drive. When the computer is reformated, can I open up my files even if AxCrypt is not installed yet?

steganography software would be perfect for you. in this case, your document will be encrypted and stored in any OTHER file you choose, which maybe an image or audio file etc.

Axcrypt is NOT portable. And no, you'd need Axcrypt to be installed to open them.

But I read that they have Self-decrypting files are also supported, removing the need to install AxCrypt to decrypt?

I don't need portable anymore. Just something to put password so the shop people can't open my files.

So how to use the self-decrypt?
