Request for Avira Review
Guys, I believe there are a number of Avira users here...
It seems strange that Raymond has never ever reviewed Avira so far...I know Raymond is a Kaspersky user but it would be nice to read a review by hime regarding Avira..how effective/ineffective it is....
It would also be nice if he were to do an unbiased comparison between Avira and Kaspersky (I mean the anti-virus only, not the security suite)
Therefore, I am requesting our dear Raymond sir to kindly do us this favor. If any one of you agree, please say so in this thread...I need some support to show that there's demand for Avira's review....thanks.
P.S. Hope Raymond reads this.

That would be nice. I would like to see also, as I am an avira user. I used both the free verion, and now use avira premium.

you're using avira premium?
im asking this not because of me - i dont have problems with my shedule - but because my sister in law* started using free and she ONLY updates at lunch time - bad idea - so last week she didnt update 3/5 days and on saturday i couldnt update either... so i used offline updates but i cant advise her to do so. so is premium that faster? thx.
*hope this is correct english term

Nope...I don't use the Premium version (don't bother with registration all that just to get a few months key)
I am using the free version but the updates does seem faster as compared to a few months ago...no idea why your sister-in-law is not getting her updates...it has been working fine for me so far.

lunch time here = ALL EU lunch time -> bad schedule for Avira updates
im going to try to convince her to use one of those 90-180 days extended trials, hope that works.

Go ahead...it might make a difference
BUT I suggest you try it on your machine first (those 3months, 6months premium version)...avoid yourself embarrassment (and anger by your sis-in-law) in case it doesn't work.
