Wink Acessing hidden/unaccesible Auto-Rootkit Scan settings & Hidden options in KIS 2010

I recently found my system slowing down due to Auto Rootkit scans done by KIS. It was found to be a minor bug which seems to have been resolved but I was surprised to see no settings for disabling the scan. The scan runs without any scheduling and cant be disabled.

I actually thought that the skin option for KIS was a joke until then, but not any more. They are developed by KIS fans and released in the Kaspersky lab fans forum. Some skins add additional functionality and increase ease of use.

The work around for the Auto rootkit scan is actually changing to a non standard skin, which brings in several extra options hidden in the KIS GUI.

Take a look at my skin.

The issue with the automatic rootkit scan is resolved. It only takes 2-3 minutes.
