    .tmp.jpg

    Hi

Alot of my friends, when they send me an image via MSN, they send me a .tmp.jpg file.

What is it and how do I send one back?

That's probably just because it's been copy-pasted (eg. Screenshot).
".tmp" = temporary, so it's just temporarily generated on their side for the transfer. This file is no different from a regular JPG image.

As for sending one back, just drag-drop like you usually would with an image, or copy-paste an image in to get the .tmp.jpg in there
