Is Kaspersky AV compatible with Returnil?
Is Kaspersky AV compatible with Returnil? I've Googled but I can't find a 100% sure answer...so is it a YES or NO? Anyone here knows? Or perhaps you've experience using the 2 of them together? Please tell me....

KAV 2010 and RVS Home Lux 2010 is both working fine on my test box...
* KAV defs update set to manual mode
* Add RVS to KAV exclusion list
* Turn-off RVS VG ( Realtime Protection )
-KAV AV protection module is far superior than RVS native ( F-Prot engine) Virus Guard.

) i suggest you to use kaspersky gsi to scan machine as previously it flagged as incompatible several softwares not listed in the links optimus prime posted.

Thanks guys...I've just tried installing KAV and Returnil together on my XP Pro....seems fine so far.
And yeah, I'm new to Kaspersky, any suggestions on how to configure it, there seems to be lots of options (I'm too lazy to figure out each and every single one)...
One more thing is KAV seems to be detecting 1 of my Acer files as a threat...and it keeps prompting me....I know it's a false positive but how do I set it to ignore...I can't find the option...

Settings>Threats and exclusion>Add the file into exclusion rule and trusted applications.
Go to Settings and play around with the settings. It is not that hard. Not as hard as Norton.
Kaspersky work fine out of the box (default settings). But if you are like me who likes to put my settings all to high (for all AVs I ever use), there are quite a few stuff to tweak...
