    trout~music player~

    This program called trout which i have been using it for months,it is a simple music player so i thought i will share it with you guys.Trout uses roughly about 6mb of ram.
    O.S it supports:
    ALL of the windows(im using it on 7 too)
    Features:

    * Supported audio formats (standard): AIFF, AIF, AIFC, MP1, MP2, MP3, OGA, OGG, WAV, MO3, XM, MOD, S3M, IT, MTM.
    * Supported audio formats (w/ plugins): FLAC, WMA, WMP, WMV, ASF, MID, MIDI, RMI, KAR, WV, WVC, AAC, MP4, M4A, M4B, M4P, APE, AC3, SPX, TTA, OFR, MPC, ALAC.
    * Basic freeDB support for audio CD track titles.
    * Support for internet radio streams.
    * Supported tag formats: ID3v1, ID3v2.2/3/4, OGG/FLAC Vorbis comments, WMA, APEv2, MP4/ALAC/AAC (not available under 9x/ME)
    * WinampAPI support for external control and display.
    * Commandline parameters for external control (/play, /stop, /prev, /next, & /mute).
    * Extremely customizable hotkey system.
    * Track announcements (ideal for audiobooks)

    I have not heard/seen of this before. How good is it as compared to the more popular and known ones such as AIMP2 and Foobar? Have you tried those and compared?

    P.S. The interface isn't appealing to me lol

    hmm havent tried these but those looks like a complicated bloated music player to me....
    and i forgot to mention..This program doesnt focus on UI, its for simple music player and use only around 6mb of ram..

    OK..get you now. Why not you go to Gizmo Freeware and recommend this app there...

    Best Free Music Player and Organizer

    I'm currently trying out AIMP2 as I don't know which one's the best for me...I've used MediaMonkey all these while but I find that it's getting slow to start and I needed a replacement...
