    USB is dead

So I left my USB stick in while jailbreaking my iTouch, and I guess that is a big no-no. Anyways, now my USB doesn't work.

    What I mean by that:
-Windows will recognize plugged in hardware, but labels in Unknown Device.
-In device manager, it also says Unknown Device

In other words, there is no recognition whatsoever that it's a USB stick. Someone said some stuff bout firmware, but I lost the IRC logs.

Anyway to get it working (I already had my files backed up before hand)?

1.) I checked it on another computer
2.) I can't find any indication of a firmware download page
