thanks for letting me in your forum. I googled your thread about Comodo and thought on the basis of that you might be able to tell me why my Comodo installation won't open my ports.

I want three ports open for three different applications. They require port forwarding through my Bipac 5200 router and I've done that, no problem. I know there's no problem there because if I switch Comodo off the ports are open.

But when Comodo is active the ports are closed. I use PFPortchecker to test that.

The three apps were configured in Comodo any port any destination 'allow' and 'in and out'.

Since then I've changed them to b e configured each with the particular port it wants. No difference. They still won't open.

AND.. for a while there the 'application control rules' page wouldn't let me edit the rules. I'd click on edit and a window would open, but it wouldn't have the tabs to allow editing. It was useless.

I wonder if you have any ideas/suggestions?
