Sticky for Bitsdujour or not?

Do you want to create sticky for this site just like the GAOD?

This site has big discounts on software, usually interesting software but like GAOD some days are more interesting than others. Of course the one's of us who dont own CC are weired - for the moment - but all the others will profit from this. For instance, today deal is Directory Opus 9 (latest) with 40% discount - i have never seen promotions like this for this specific software.

I think it's a good idea. Some of the promos are for products and apps you never see for free. Some good deals on Bitsdujour.

yes you are right i got my Sandboxie lifetime licence from Bitsdujour for 10 bucks this was not available anywhere else

But I don't see a reason to, or see a reason not to. Depends on how others feel... I'm useless for suggestions like that.

since Bitsdujour doesn't not provide software for free or giveaways, it might be pubblished sporadically since it could be considered as promotional advertisement without Raymond's consent.

I agree with leofelix...although it's a good idea, having a sticky exclusively for this may bring in unnecessary attention and might be abused as a means of advertisement...but then again, I'm not the one who decides...

P.S. Or perhaps, we can make a sticky for software deals (from any promotions, not just BitsDujour) that has a minimum amount of discount...for e.g 50% or more?? The problem of such a sticky being abused is still there though...

Agree 100% a sticky for low-cost promotional software
As for abuse subject we can create sticky for starters and if we don't like result we close it - simple as that.
