Help : creating a virtual LAN for playing multiplayer game

Hi Guyz,

How can i create a virtual LAN with for playing multiplayer games with my friend as he stays far from my house. I am running Win 7 and my friend is running Win XP

I have read about Hamachi that it can be used to create VPN also, you can share folders like its on a physical LAN but how? can someone give me a tut or any kind of help.

Just download and install on both computers. Then, you have to create 1 room and provide info (name and password of room) to your friend and ask him/her join your network.

download and install on both computers.each would recieve a specific ip like address(5.xx.xx.xx).thats it. as for i know there are different methods for connecting for different games.what game you want to play?
