need your input for a software idea

Need you input on this idea i have for my next software.

first off ill explain how this idea came to me. a few of u know i play guitar and have done for around 7 year and had private lessons ,well these lessons i had was just lessons on how to play and playing ,none of it was theory ,so last week i decided that i should learn guitar theory and all the notes on the fretboard .I wanted a chart of all the notes on each string and thought that it would be good to pin this image to my desktop for reference ,well we have all herd of post it notes and sticky notes in windows 7.

Now i cant find any software that will do the same as post it notes or sticky notes with images! tell a lie found one that pins images to desktop but that removes the wallpaper.

So heres my idea ,create some software that does the same as post it notes but with images. is this a good idea? ,whats your take on this and should it be free!

Hmm that is something different, sticky notes with image support.

I don't use any sticky note software for my computers, so sadly I don't see a point to it.

Though you never know, you can make it and charge $5 USD for it, see how it flies. Worst thing that happens is you get to see it on some warez sites, but I'm sure some of us will report it for you.

Those that do download warez, that is..

Once installed, you can use the sticky notes normally or right click and hit insert image.

of course it is not free.

Where's the fun of coding if someone's coded it for you? I'm sure Tangomouse will find a way to improve on it haha

Plus that's also $30... $5, like I said, is a better deal haha

Cool idea Tango...why not go for it if you have the time?

As for 'free or not' issue, I'm in favor of it being free since I don't think many would have a use for it and even if they do, most would not even dream of paying for it...most would head down to warez sites to get it for $0.

Let it be freeware (donation-ware) instead. Or make 2 separate versions...one 'Free/Basic' while another 'Pro/Full' with additional features. You can then charge for the "Pro/Full" version or make it exclusive for those who donatest to you...

P.S. Another company having a similar produuct doesn't mean you can't go ahead with your idea...

thanks for the support ,ill start working on it tomorrow ,yesterday i was at a funeral and got very drunk afterwards so am not feeling my best today ,got a massive hangover
