Windows Live Movie Maker alternative
My first question :
1. Is Windows Live Movie Maker good?
2. If no, what good and free alternative can you guys recommend me?
Thoughts are like a never ending ocean where it is deep, endless and dangerous

WLMM I would never recommend for video editing.
I'd recommend Videospin.

Hmm...I don't think that there are any good free video editors...
I used Sony Vegas and it is really good and Adobe Premier is the non plus ultra, but they are expensive...

In-f3st, you should try VideoSpin then...

Supernova
@hellnoire: Although have not try this yet. But there are very good reviews of VideoSpin everywhere. But I think there is some limitation.
See here

VideoSpin also loses some features after 15 days, namely access to most of its codecs (another name for video conversion utilities). That means if you're fond of moving your videos to Mpeg-4 (iPhone compatible) or using MP3 audio (for most portable media players), you'll need to buy the $15 (Rs 700 approx) SpinPack.
Every day brings a chance for you to draw in a breath, kick off your shoes, and dance.

Pinnacle is over priced and unstable on the computers I used it on
not Videospin itself, but the full 'featured' suite.
I'm aware of that sujay, and I knew a work-around one time... but I've forgotten it. Even so, $15 isn't major major money... if all you're doing is editing on your PC for a PC, you're fine. You can always re-encode later.
