    Hey,
sorry....not much help...but please type "error stuck key 01, press F1 to setup" in Google. There were loads of forums related to your problem.

The main point (I glanced at a few) boiled down to a problem with the BIOS. Resetting BIOS settings to default seemed to be a popular solution.

Take a look at the other suggestions on Google.

by the way....What type of Laptop? What Operating System is running? Can you get to the BIOS? Any Keys on the Keyboard Jammed?

The F1 key on your keyboard is jamming. You can try to turn off your laptop and use an air can to try and blow out the keyboard, then turn it on again. If that doesn't work then you should consider just replacing the keyboard.
    OR
If you've got a spare keyboard lying around give it a try and see if you get the same error message.
If that doesn't work try resetting your BIOS back to its default settings.

    putingcow what a coincidence

I had this same problem last week on IBM laptop with XP-sp2.

ok, is ur fried having the laptop hocked to a dock station? if yes, remove it from dock station and give it a go. It will work.

To confirm, when i faced the problem i removed form doc and tried & no more error. But when I again hocked to doc- it gave me same error.

    Best of luck.
