Seriously I'm not excited over this...I personally think uTorrent doesn't need any Apps functionality...most of us uTorrent users/fans use it because it's small, lean and does what we need it to do without any extra bloat. Firefox extensions may be good and it's what makes Firefox well-known (customization) but it's also one of the bash-points of users who have had troubles with them. I wouldn't want to see the same thing happen with uTorrent. Sometimes, keeping things simple is the right thing to do...features isn't everything.

As for the Virus Guard in uTorrent Griffin, I don't think I would use it - I've never used a virus-scanning feature in any app before. I merely download and then I would decide on my own if I want to scan it using the right-click Explorer menu integration of my installed AV.

It's the only way to fly. Gunk it up and then it starts crashing, etc, etc.

Agreed totally...I'm a Firefox user myself and I have had both good and bad experiences with it when it comes to the add-ons. It's always good to keep it to a minimal but it's also a norm for human beings to try out each and everything that seems good to them Whatever it is, whoever's gonna use the Apps functionality in uTorrent won't turn out that way...
