LG E310 (Fan not working)

so today i have an LG E310, it had windows vista installed, i downgraded to windows XP, but a problem appeared, the laptop gets heated quickly and shuts down!! i found out that the fan isn't working, although its mode is set on ON, and it should work non stop when the AC is plugged, i tried to look at the BIOS configurations, and load the default options, but no good. any ideas?!

yeah i did a search to come up with nothing, i thought it was a problem with the laptop or the OS, but guess what!!

it was cat hair >.< blocking the fan from rotating

I'm sorry but I had to laugh at this because the last time I had fan problems was because a screw came loose so I was going to suggest to check the fan.
