Check Disk completed but No scan log?

I just ran Error-checking for hard disk.
When the scan is done, I don't see the results of scan log? Not sure what happened?

    For XP do following:

Immediately after running chkdsk->Go to Event Viewer-->Check in the Aplication log-->Lookout for Winlogon == that's the 'scandisk' log

    For W7 do following:

Immediately after running chkdsk->Go to Event Viewer-->Check in the Aplication log-->Lookout for wininit== that's the 'scandisk' log

    How to save:
In the right-hand panel of the event viewer you should see a panel of "Actions". You want "Save All Events As..." and then select .txt format in the file save dialog. If you only want to save some particular entries, use "Filter Current Log" and "Save Filtered Log File As...".

Hi luffy i just reinstalled windows 7 and ran chkdsk ... looked in event viewer to check the event log and there is no refrence to it, although there where one or two application errors...nothing big..but in my case i didn't expect problems just the logfile...this is where i would go if i had any serious problems anyway.... exactly the way Grr posted...
What made you run chkdsk anyway ? i do now and again as it takes the best part of 50 min....

    Hi luffy!!
chkdsk should inform you in real time about the errors it finds. I you were there during the process you might have seen where the errors were...

    Screw Google! Ask me!

    For OS as XP:
    Do following:

Event Viewer > APPLICATIONS log > Winlogon entry

You should get to see the following:

Oh, believe me grr. I could not find it anywhere. No Winlogon entry exists in my Event Viewer > APPLICATIONS log > Winlogon entry.
I have also checked System, Security. Nothing about Winlogon entry.
