What software do you install immediately after a clean installation of Windows?

1. What software do you install immediately after a clean installation of Windows? Please leave windows update, drivers among those.
You can tell more than one..

For me, I install latest flash player, java, shockwave player & adobe air.

2. Do you install those from a previously downloaded file or download them freshly?

For me, I prefer to download them freshly from internet.

First av and am then browsers, flash & shockwave player, java, Pdf reader. I also prefer fresh installation.

AV is the last thing I install. I usually keep a system image after I install all softwares. And then I install AV. This is because I try out AV often. Then without uninstallation I just restore the image..

I check for driver updates and Windows updates. Then usually download a browser like Chrome or Firefox and go from there...

2. I always download from internet those small and "update-able" ones (av, browser, wlm) and those heavy stuffs I always have them installed offline (MO, photoshp, games)

First thing i install is AV.....den d Browser...SAS....ASC.....Download Manager....
i always store d setup files.....Never Download dem Again....

interesting question..
first thing that i will do is to maintain a backup using macrium free..
then installation of Firefox will begin followed by internet download manager and Microsoft office etc..
i have all the setup files in " ready to launch " condition with regular updates..( with file hippo update checker)
thus, no need to re download them..

First I will install MS Office, latest versions of firefox, adobe reader, flash player, CD/DVD writing software, ccleaner, Tuneup utilities & MSE. Then I will change settings like disabling auto run and auto play and perform windows update. After that I will make a clean image of system partition
