Hi! You might check the startup programs, they may cause your pc to boot slower. To do that :
1. Pres Windows button and R (or Start then type msconfig).
2. Type msconfig on the box that appears .
3. It opens System Configuration and go to the Startup tab.
4. Uncheck the unnecessary programs that load during startup.
5. Click OK
That all. Hope I have helped you.
P.S (Do a defragmentation)
Hi welcome back,
another reason for slowdown could be a malware infection.
Please try to scan your system with SUPERAntiSpyware Portable Scanner (free) and HitMan Pro 3.5.6 (30 days free trial - it is a second opinion scanner with no real time protection, please activate it only if malware is found)
Errare humanum est, perseverare autem diabolicum
Apart from the posted suggestion above.
Better if you do share/post here all the list of programs running inside your box. So people can check and analyze the issue efficiently & see what's going on inside.
See: Autoruns/System Explorer /Process Explorer/ WinPatrol
There are already the most important tips but here come's also an another point of view. We all know that when we buy a new computer, those could contain big collection of "crap" what actually no one doesnt need and those can just be the reason for example this kind of slowdown. I don't think this is maybe the first issue you need to do, but check absolutely if nothing else doesn't help:

How full is it?
I've already done msconfig, I've ran a Spyware/Adware/Malware/Etc., scan with Kaspersky Anti-Virus Program, but will try the Superspy one..And I have no idea how I can share my running programs with you..And I will look into the PC crapifier..It's a Toshiba and has stuff on it, but nothing like Dell..My hard disk has only been used about 3 months, and it has 350gb to it so I don't think that's it..Thanks Everyone for your Replies..Gonna go try these Couple things and I'll let you know how it goes..Thanks Again All..sure is good to be back..WH
Try to defragment your drive. Use Auslogics/Puran. Also perform a registry defragment, with quicksys regdefrag.
Every day brings a chance for you to draw in a breath, kick off your shoes, and dance.
Did you restore an image of the active partition in these 3 months, and if so, did you perhaps let Windows handle the MasterBoot Record?
walkingheart hope your recovery is still going strong and i wish you well... the suggestion here have been great and to add one-more thing, Raymond mentioned, and i have to agree for me at least, is a fresh install, at least that gets rid of all bundled software and i back up my drivers...i feel i have more control over my pc and put what i want on it, as a rule i always reduce the size of system restore as it's set too high by default...
