Google Releases Standalone Windows Installer (MSI) for Chrome
Google has officially released a
MSI installer for Windows users.
The MSI installer only works in Windows and it currently installs the latest Dev Channel build.

Hi Leo, I downloaded this a few days before and during install....BSOD! And never tried to install it again. I think that the cause might have been a missing driver( I had just formatted my laptop). Now I'm happy with Firefox, although I used to have Firefox + Chrome together. Anyway thank you for letting us know here at the forum.

Google have always made it troublesome for users to download an offline Google Chrome setup file...you either have to find the proper 'hidden' link to the setup file (usually slightly different from the URL used for the online installer) or you find it distributed through 3rd-party mirror sites.
