Youtube's got movies

Recently, Youtube announced the availability of Youtube movies, a free movies category on the video hosting site that currently offers 400 free full-length movies.

YouTube movies organizes itself into these categories: Action and Adventure, animation and cartoon, Biography and Documentary, Bollywood, Comedy, Drama, Horror, and Myth and Suspense.

There are no blockbuster hits, but there are some Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan movies.

The majority of the movies are free though there appear to be some rentals. Anyway it might be something to look into in one's spare time.

there is lot of competition going on between you tube and itunes,Netflix, Hulu, cable.
Google’s YouTube is reportedly in negotiations with movie studios to offer pay-per-view videos by the end of the year. The move could make a lot of waves given YouTube’s reach.
Google’s YouTube, which is embedded on many phones, would have an instant pay-per-view smartphone play.
Google’s YouTube effort is going to shake up Web video. The biggest encroachment—at least initially—will be on Apple’s iTunes

interesting read, prince. we'll have to see if these project will make google an money. Personally, not a big fan of iTunes and youtube definitely has the viewership to make this a profitable venture for google if they step up the provided movies.

Same story here...but for free and legally, it's not that bad since there are a few movies that may earn your attention
