Since it's a netbook I'd suggest you to find a lighter AV: Avast, Panda Cloud or whatever. Everything else is OK.

Doesn't KIS 09 CBE include a virus/malware guard?

I've added MBAM for the sake of the log files; as I'm unable to see where KIS 09 CBE drops its log files. Other than that, KIS does the real-time protection as I don't have the full version of MBAM

Same thoughts here. For netbooks, Avast and Panda Cloud gets my vote

Do I need to remove KIS then?
Oh and does it give real-time protection?

How's KIS on your netbook? Does it run fine or is it causing lag? You've got to decide yourself whether you want to stick to it or you want to opt for something else...I can't decide that for you.
IF you're opting for a change, then yes both Avast and Panda Cloud gives you real-time protection although the 2 products work differently.
Avast is a traditional desktop-based AV where you download signatures - that gives you the advantage of both offline and online protection.
Panda Cloud is a cloud-based AV that doesn't require signature updates as it 'works in the cloud' by scanning the hash of files you download - that gives you the advantage of not requiring to do updates often but it's main protections is therefore when you're online. It does store a cache of the latest/widest-spread threats for offline protection but that may not suit you.
Since you're a KIS user, if I were to recommend one - you're better off with Avast since it gives you more options as compared to Panda and would fit into your comfort zone (familiarity). Panda Cloud suits better for those running under LUA and has safe surfing habits....or those with a layered security setup.
Take note though, with both, you're essentially back with Windows Firewall which in it's default state provide inbound protection only....

Proud to say, I'm lag free with KIS on my netbook even when I do my daily routine
I feel like I should change it but since it goes back to the built in firewall, I'm in between those decisions...
If I get either one of those two lightweights, would it be good to have Comodo Firewall?

You can install Comodo Firewall it as well but trust me...you don't need it. The built in firewall does the job perfectly.
