VLMC: VideoLAN Movie Creator

The folks behind one of the World’s favorite media player VideoLAN Media Player (VLC) are developing a video editor called VideoLAN Movie Creator(VLMC). VLMC will be cross-platform just like VLC media player and will work on Windows, Linux, and Mac platform.
It is under development stage at this moment. If you are feeling adventurous and want to test it then you can download a pre-release version from the VideoLAN Movie Creator website. Please keep in mind that this is an early release, and that it has lots of bugs.

Please note that VLMC requires at least VLC 1.1.x

I doubt it will be that good.

I'm an Adobe Premier fan for many reasons but the major reason is the multi-video and multi-audio track editing you can do. As of yet, only LiVeS (I believe it's called) for Linux is the only one that does it. And because it's so unstable... I can't recommend it.
