Bug Mobile Security Software : AVG Is On The Move

AVG's acquisition of Tel Aviv-based DroidSecurity sends us skyward to a new level of cloud-based mobile security. For AVG, the need for mobile security solutions is a critical market to address as mobile online usage continues to grow at a pace where analysts predict smartphones will overtake PCs in 2012.

I'm personally really excited about this development, as DroidSecurity is a genuine pioneer in security for™Android-based mobile devices including all devices such as smartphones and netbooks.

Given the explosive growth of the Android Marketplace, we can identify exceptionally strong user demand for mobile security using this open source operating system. According the NPD Group, Android OS edged out Apple's OS X during Q1 of 2010 in the USA.
