WinX market strategy?

Why is WinX flooding the market with licenses? Are they trying to undermine their competitors? Somehow it does not feel right.

all I know is that WinX Violates the licence of ffmpeg. See: http://www.ffmpeg.org/shame.html and they are used to self promote through spam (mainly forum spammers)

You will find a lot of WinX converters on giveawayofthaday.com, GOTD apparently do not care even if their licenses cannot be activated or those licenses expire soon.
Actually I would not install any software which is promoted trough spam and fake giveaways

I feel the same way too. I appreciate freebies but at the rate they're going, they might as well release freeware version for home-use instead. As for the violation of ffmpeg license mentioned by leofelix, I'll leave that for the respective parties to negotiate and settle the issue among themselves.
