    From 95 to 7
    From 25 MHz, 4 MB, ~50 MB to 1 GHz, 1 GB, 16 GB

    Thanks for the info luffy. It is interesting to see how bloated the later versions of Windows have become, compared to only a few short years ago.

    Thank you Luffy appreciate the information, must be the basic edition of Vista for that kind of ram as the memory on XP is 64 bit minimum, i suppose that is with the operating system only and playing freecell i agree there are alot of services running that the home owner doesn't need, not for the basics at least, and looking 512 mb of ram on XP seemed slow quickly.

    Hmm nice share I've used Xp with 256 MB ram with memory hogger's like av, firefox, internet, music players and blah blah real time slow indeed but not too much slow if you maintain some tricks .
    I don't need to know everything, I just need to know where to find it, when I need it.

    Windows 95 was a clear winner, but will you still use it now that we are at the gate of 64bit computing? - That's so outdated. For every new technological update, you must pay a price!

    98 was the winner... 95 couldn't hold a candle to it. It was the final version while 95 was a public beta...

    Boy that sounds familiar, hm? (2000 vs XP, Vista vs 7)
