Xp is still an option for me. Ib have one xp license active , it is still heavily supported by MS through updates and regualr updates , incase windows live softwares you can use the previous version, office 2010 supports xp, MSE supports xp,most of microsoft freewares still can be installed on xp, incase of internet security , hat can bestrengthend through third party firewalls and other security measures. internet security solely depends upon user and you must have a valid and leagl xp license then you will be rpotected though various measure from MS still middle of 2014. Thoguh wind 7 is my favourite but still I use xp sp3 updates and patch installed for some work. XP cannot be abadoned still microsoft abadoned it , MS still supports it still 2014.
