    System Image Solution

    Hi,
    I have created system image on my pc ( os windows 7) after which i downloaded Kaspersky trial on D drive and install it on c drive (as usual). I had also downloaded some pictures in image folder.
    My question is if i restore my system to image creation will I loose all new data from C & D drive
    Will kaspersky download on d drive & images in folder will remain or they will be deleted.
    My 2nd question is May I able to reverse restore system image .....
    Kindly answer my query

    typically the data stored in the drive: D, will not be lost. Unless it was removed

    Everything on C will go for sure and it depends on whether you chose to backup D as well. If it's not in the system image nothing will change. Also, don't alter the partitions you backup into the system image or it won't restore.

    Any new data on the partitions you included in the system image will be lost for sure if you restore it, and no you can't reverse a system image restore. You can only do that if you use a system restore point. If you want to restore that system image, I would backup the data you want to save first before you do it. Typically, a Windows System Image only saves the data on the drive that contains the OS and the system reserve partition, if there is one.
