What is your opinion about Outpost security pro?
I am not comparing or saying something rude about any av.
I just want to know experience of its user.
Any review will be helpful
Thanks

I have this installed over a week now and i have to say i like the fact i haven't noticed a negative impact, and when i need to know of any behavioural changes then a window opens with options... how good the suite is i don't know for sure yet although im careful anyway, the result to date look positive, install is a breeze and over all pretty silent, so i can say it is in no way intrusive.
I appreciate the event viewer for the details and although silent it is easy to call up and as for quarantine there are only a few tracking cookies in there.
Up to now this is a pleasant experience and hardly aware of this suite

hi Jay,
if you were to compare between OutPost's Firewall and Comodo's Firewall
which one would act friendlier(popups) and silent(performance impact) ?
protection and effectiveness-wise i guess both Comodo and Outpost are neck to neck of each other (source : matousec's report, although suspected to be biased)

jey i have been using this for sometime in my lapie and it is ridiculously great. i mean light fast and furious hahahah. seriously this is a superb Suite. I love it so far . The only disrespect i have is about the AV part but even though VirusBuster is not such a great Av it is not a bad one either. I have heard some here do not like it but so far i have had a great experience and if i had a license i would surely keep this one for a good year with no regret .
Comodo or Outpost? Well Comodo has a strong tool which is the sandboxing ability which OSS lacks . Other than that it will be clearly OutPost
Windows Vista Home Premium
Comodo FW AVG Antivirus free MBAM Glary Utilities

When early versions came Outpost was straightly said awful and i remember that i did not get anything else than problems with it. But later developers have done HUGE improvements to that suite and today you can use it without all kind of problems. Still not my favourite must say, but developers have start going to right direction, so thumbs UP for that!
Yes you are right -> English is not my nature language = Me talk bad English

I hope I am not breaking any rules by posting this. If so, please forgive and just delete this post
You can have a chance to win one of eleven (one year) licenses for the latest full version of Outpost Security Suite Pro HERE.
It is often better to keep one's mouth shut and appear to be a fool than to open it and remove all doubt!

I can honestly say i have noticed no impact on browsing with this suite, and i used to beta test Comodo firewall and watched it mature over the time from Alpha to public release.
Comodo firewall i do like and why not i posted my results on the forum, it's really down to choice, that's one reason i don't debate security suites as experiences differ from user to user also Raymond mentioned each PC is tailored to the user or at least mine is tailored to my use and needs.

My first impression: a very pleasant IS suite. GUI is fine. However, some things puzzle me. When I do a scan, the pop-up monitor window displays the files being scanned, and it is one long list of messages like "failed to open ...." and "cannot open ....". No virus found. At the end it says: scan succesful. I contacted Support and they responded the next day (which is good), but the answer they gave was evasive, the conclusion being that I did not have to worry. Perhaps so, but still, it is a bit odd.
Another point is the impossibility (as it seems) to block an executable file manually, as I am wont to do in OA. Nor can I manually program the FW not to address certain websites (like in OA). If I cannot find a solution to that, I may well have to uninstall again.
