Setting subtitle delay in VLC??
Triend using hotkeys "h" & "g". Although OSD shows Subtitle delay value changing incrementally. There is no change in the subtitle delay.
Tried googling. Some say it works some say the delay doesnt??

Why not manually set the delay/Advancement in Subtitle track...
for that..
Go to the Tool---> then Track Synchronization----> Synchronization ---> Advance in subtitle over video.

you can go for Positive if you want subtitle before the pictures and vice versa.. I.e Time can be of (-)ve or (+)ve value...

Other than trial and error any other way to find the subtitle delay??
Finally found a subtitle that matched ...
