Jumping through hoops for Google
Google did some kind of update today, apparently it makes it impossible to signin to your google apps for domains email account if you are allready signed in to your gmail account. You recieve some annoying message that makes you signout of your gmail account before you can look at your google apps for domains email. Then when you go to check you regualar gmail account again or want to use any google service at all accociated with your regualar gmail account you are once again prompted with the annoying message telling you to signout out of one account to get access to your other google account. What a waste of peoples time, to make people jump through hoops everytime they want to access a google service. Hey google how about not showing some annoying message before i try to acess my google apps for domains email account. How about you not make me signout of my gmail account and signin to another google account every time i want to check my email. Google you lost your way on this one.

your might be thinking well why have more than one google account, well for one not all google services can be used by google apps for domain accounts, like adsense, so switching all the way to the google apps for domains account is just not a option.

I never use Gmail. I think Yahoo mail, too. Can not open two accounts at the same time. It was very ineffective, inconvenient..

I'd rather be fishing!
Thanks for the heads up thomasalan. I don't use Gmail myself, but I can certainly understand your frustration with its policies.

Frustrating, but Fixable
Hi,
I too was frustrated by this, but fortunately the solution is easy. (Disclaimer, this board is lame because I cannot post links!!) So instead of giving you the link, you'll need to do a google.com search for this phrase 'google accounts answer 182343' that should point you in the right direction. From what I read the changes were necessary due to infrastructure changes they made so that your 'Apps for Domains' account can use a bunch of additional Google products/services. Enjoy!
Cheers.

Thanks for signing up and posting a solution to this problem.
The restriction for not allowing new users to post links are there because of spammers.
This forum would really turn into a "lame board" when there are hundreds of spam links.
