Out of my mind. I Haven't Lost My Mind, It's Backed Up On Disk Somewhere.
Thanks for the heads up Tango! I read about Steve Jobs death a bit earlier. What a great job he did at Apple and I wonder just how much this will affect the company going forward.
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain!
A great person has died. I can only pay tribute to his memory.
“No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don’t want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life’s change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new. Right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will gradually become the old and be cleared away. Sorry to be so dramatic, but it is quite true.
“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
-Steve Job's speech at Stanford, June 2005Steve and I first met nearly 30 years ago, and have been colleagues, competitors and friends over the course of more than half our lives.
The world rarely sees someone who has had the profound impact Steve has had, the effects of which will be felt for many generations to come.
For those of us lucky enough to get to work with him, it’s been an insanely great honor. I will miss Steve immensely.”
-Bill Gates
I'm no Apple fanboy too but "job well done sir!". You and your archival Bill Gates, were the pioneers of the pc industry. A big respect to you and to your greatness. Shalom!

It is 15 minutes long compared to 4 minutes. Either way a very illuminating speech.
I may not have been an apple fanboy but I respect the technological innovations Apple has created in the last decade.
