Looking for NON-iTunes software to sync with a 4th gen iPod Nano

So one of my buddies is looking at an iPod Nano, 4th generation or lower, and thinking about replacing his current MP3 player with it. He refuses to use iTunes (for good reason, all the bloat) so has asked me to find a replacement program. I know of none, but I ask now if anyone knows of any software can work with this generation, free or paid. He's preferring a drag-n-drop interface, but anything will do. Thanks.

Can't find anything? Make a portable version of iTunes but your friend will still have to install the drivers. At least the iTunes bloats are avoided.

Yeah, that's what we were thinking would be a possibility too.

How do you make a portable version of iTunes?

Free Cameyo seems to work as well.

Yep, all are options. I'll pass them along, though right now the kid's in the hospital. Hurt himself somehow, and won't be buying it for a while.
