Please help its urgent

Hi I have strange problem...
I have windows 7 image backup on my D drive
My os has crashed and now i install xp on drive c by usb
How can i install back System image on c drive and get back windows 7
Is there any software which can help and how.


P.S. I cannot install new windows 7 as it is on dvd and my dvd driver is not working..

You will have to search for Windows 7 Recovery Disc ISO image either x86 or x64 depending on which version you used to create the image. Burn it to a CD and boot up the computer.

You can restore the windows 7 image from there.

Try Wondershare Live Boot 2012 and make a boot USB. It allows you to recover from an image.

Have you ever made any system repair disc for your PC?? if yes then Skip the 1 st step:
1)Just Download the System Repair Disc from the post refrence :here :
2) just made a system recovery disc on USB as your DVD drive is not working..
remember the words here
as the USB system repair disc can be made same as the Windows 7 installation..
3) Boot via System Repair Disc and follow the Step as mentioned here to Restore the System Image from your D drive
