Must be googles way of getting people to buy online storage, i have a seven year old dell that has no problems with the hard drive.... or maybe using cloud computing, whether or not hard drives are really prone to failure or not i haven't had it happen, but it could and i could win the lotto... i monitor the temps and make sure it's dust free with good air flow, and don't use the BTX standard case as it's a dust bucket... i suppose im really opposed to cloud as i think that the report was hinting in this direction...
Even if the report was from 2007 it's far from acurate and i didn't see a reference to new technology Revo drive or SSD
surley with the list of names the study could have been expanded further as there was no definate answer given..
