VLC library for Encrypted Blu-ray Playback Capability.
libaacs 0.3.0 2011-12-02
The doom9 researchers and the libaacs developers would like to present the first official release of their library of the implementation of the libaacs standard.
libaacs 0.3.0 source code can be downloaded on the VideoLAN ftp.
Nota Bene:This library is of no use without AACS keys.
libaacs is included in VLC 1.2.
Step1: VLC 1.2 Nightly build:http://nightlies.videolan.org/
Step2: A simple Google search was enough to reveal the key (pun intended).
>> Google : I'm feeling really lucky.
Step3:
Keys database: get the file
Windows: put it in %APPDATA%/aacs/ . How to find where %appdata% dir is?
AACS dynamic library: get the file
Windows: put that file in your VLC directory
You are set.
VLC Bluray Menu functionality is on the way, expected @ VLC 2.1 / 3.0. According to a VLC developer : https://twitter.com/#!/beauzeh/statu...55216177160192
PS: The AACS keys will never be part of the official VLC releases (since it enables copy protection circumvention). So even if the VLC 1.2 nightly reaches stable, you'll need Googles luck to get VLC to play encrypted blurays.
For those who couldn't find it , I`m feeling lucky= Google's first result
