    Learn to code :Newbies

I came across this site called codeacademy, some time ago, Its a very good site and its developing content. Offers weekly lessons and assignments, you can go at any pace you like. It focusses on javascript & i believe maybe they'll expand into other platforms. Its free.
    http://www.codecademy.com

I also came across :programr.com. We have to pay or earn points for their tutorials. Their projects section seems open to all.

    Then there's the popular http://www.w3schools.com/.

Do post other similar sites, which you have tried.

Coincidentally I got to know about a software called "Illumination Software Creator" which allows anyone to create a software without writing a single line of code. Moreover the created software can run on multiple platforms.
