Wow, I have never actually heard of somebody succesfully getting an illegal copy of Counter-Strike to work online. There are many many tricks and hacks out there but every one i've seen has either been made obsolete by Steam, or never actually worked in the first place.

Huh? Me and my friends play all the time on non-steam servers all around Europe. Our favorite is a french server. We often host our own servers using Hamachi. It ain't easy but we get around. The trick is to create an aliases.txt document inside the Hamachi folder so you won't get the "restricted area code C" error when connecting to a server. The best possible version of the cracked Counter-Strike 1.6 and 2.0 is from the [url=http://www.dz-clan.net]DiGiTALZONE Clan. ;)
