The conflict between Little fighters 2 and VLC

I wonder if anyone here has Little Fighters 2?
It is a free game available in Download dot com.

Did you ever open a video using VLC when Little Fighters was left unclosed?
I did, but then I suffered the Blue Screen of Death.

I found that the game: Little Fighters must be closed before you can safely open a video in VLC, or your PC may crash!

Did you also open a video no matter which format of the video is in VLC after pausing LF2?

No, can't say I have. I don't even use VLC player, just the basic Windows Media Player 11 and BSPlayer Pro. Those are two of the main programs I use to play videos.
