    Situation:
At my school, each computer has only an on button and a floppy disk drive with some usb ports.
There are no DVD/CD drives and on these computers no pupils have access to the harddrive.
It is possible to run programs from USB sticks as i have tried it with windows live messenger.

All the computers are connected to the network and there is an 'administrator', im guessing that the username of the administrator would be admin?

what i want to do is retrieve the password of the administrator?
    how could i do this?

The default admin username is Administrator. However, it can be renamed for security purposes.

One of the way you can know what user you're logged in is by running Windows Task Manager, go to Processes and you'll see User Name. By default, there should be SYSTEM, LOCAL SERVICE, NETWORK SERVICE and finally the user that is logged in.

To obtain the password, you must do bruteforce. Here's a list of Password Crackers. http://sectools.org/crackers.html

Dude, can you boot Windows Xp using USB. Or use any other Linux Live CD to boot using USB.

    Download XP USB ~60 MB

    for more USB XP

    SAM file info

You can use Bart Pe too, but I don't know that Bartpe will boot from USB.

After you have boot from USB and go to C:\windows\system 32 or search the whole computer for
    SAM file.
Once found SAM files delete all those files.
Reboot and enjoy the full administration access to windows Xp.
