tis starting to do my head in, every time i try to load a page it says: The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

    * The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
    moments.

    * If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
    connection.

    * If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
p>s Seems to be whenever im using utorrent 1.7.1 it says that ?

    anyone got any ideas ?

Do you have Net Limiter installed? because when I had that program installed in my main computer it blocked my 3 laptops from connecting to the internet and I had that same problem.

Hey dazofdarlo, right click on the network connection and click repair, my friend said that it might help and if it doesn't help then there might be a problem with your Internet Provider.

Ah... this is normal if your utorrent is not configured at optimal settings. utorrent can really suck up all your bandwidth and leaves none or very little for other uses.

    A very good tutorial.

The patch is one of the things you need to install if you're using Windows XP SP2. It will change from 10 half-open connections to 50.

Well, not really UNLESS you're infected by one.

dazofdarlo and anyone else who's using that patch Raymond is referring to, if your anti virus identifies it as a virus ( and it most likely will) don't be alarmed. It's NOT a virus. It's tagged as one because it does open ports similar to the way some spyware like to open a large number of ports to get their wares in.

The patch writer's page is --> http://www.lvllord.de/?lang=en&url=news refer to "Recent false virus-notifications" PS: I use it. It's safe.
