I am running Windows XP Home Edition with SP2. I have suddenly developed a very frustrating problem: when I minimize running programs they do not show up on the toolbar at the bottom of the screen. The "animation" shows them shrinking down to the toolbar, but there is no icon. alt+tab+delete works OK and shows all running programs, and I can maximize a running program that way.
I have tried all sorts of tweaking with toolbar settings no to avail. It just looks like the running programs icons are "hiding" somewhere and I cannot see them.
So it seems to be a personal settings problem. Is there some way of "resetting" personal settings? Any suggestions? All help gratefully received...it's driving me mad.

I fix the problem using the software that u recommend. I just download the software and run it. When I click the button of taskbar problem and select the minimized the problem.
Before that I have search from the google, i found a forum was saying that this problem caused by spyware.
