How to send files via FTP?

I would like to know how to send files from a computer to another computer via FTP.

One of the computer must have a FTP server installed and configured.
The other computer will run a FTP client to connect to the FTP server and transfer files with it. FTP service runs on port 21 by default.

FileZilla a good and free FTP server and client.

Make sure FTP is allowed in your firewall so that the client can connect to the server.
