new windows xp

i hav heard from my friend that new windows xp is released in august or july 2007.
and in this windows xp there is no need to install any external drivers......all drivers are inbuilt in this windows.u hav to install only windows....................that is why new windows xp is of 1 dvd..........

I personally don't think there will be NEW version of Windows XP. It's just weird for them to do that.

It's probably the SP3 thingie, everyone's talkin' 'bout. This rumour is beginning to sound like some fairy tale 'cause they just keep delaying the release and I hope for Microsoft that this SP3 won't be as laggy and slow as the 2nd one.
