:(I recently went back to work in energy derivatives trading after surviving stage 3b inoperable lung cancer. The guy i sat next to Was a bully and a sociopath. I was not good at technicaL things since I had been out of workforce for ten years. (when I left in 97 people asked if you had e-mail) I had to resign after worKing there for 1 year bcs side effects from chemo linger and still effect my energy level.

ULtra-vnc Was set up on my Laptop - HP dz8000. This guy hates everyone and bullied and ridiculed evryone so he was shocKed when I fovght back and really had it out for me. (He googLed every thing I said I guess to see if I waS making stories up) So my LaptOp started acting strange about a week after I left my job and I had afunny fee|ing he had hacked in - he aLways bragged about hoW he couLd moniter every KeystroKe peopLe made on their computers, etc. So I went in to the Log fiLes and event viewer to see if I could notice anything, There was tonS of stuff that Looked reaLLy suspicious plus there were all these new users set up with privelages and my security settings were changed... but I wasnt 1OO% positive so I tooK screen shots and started to look things up. Btw, alL of the suspicious stuff started the day after I Left. I taLKed to a friend and told him about it and he said get the vnc off for starters. I could not find it listed where you add/remove programs but the shortcut was still on my desktop. I knew if I put it n the recycler that the program would stil be on my machine, but I clicked on it to make sure it was disabled. It semed like it was still working but now I had been gone for nearly 3 weeks and I couldn't believe that the jerk forgot about it ! So I tried my old password and it works! I see my old screen with the name of the new person sitting in my old seat. I had no interest in trying to get in to their system so I immediately closed the program without typing even one key!
I turn on all the firewalls, set it for no exceptions and turn off my laptop. Now I am trying tofigure out what isthe best way to handle things... The next day when I tryto turn on my machine the login window doesn't recognize my password and I cant get in!

I want to call the owners and tell, but I dont have the screen shots printed out. and dont know what todo. I am sure that he used his home computer to go to my old pc at work and connect to my home computer and put his monitoring spyware on hoping I would do or say something bad. He is really sick. I have no interest in revenge-- There is only a 5% survival rate after 5 yearsfrom the cancer I had and I am over 4 1/2 years now. I know what is important. Can someone tell me who could fix my machine, look at the event viewer and help me. I live in NY - north of the city.

liz (ps I didnt proofread or spell check this I havent slept in 3 days bcs I am so upset. I cant even sendout my resume.)
