I get e-mails requesting that I need to forward the same to as many people as possible as AOL & Yahoo are tracking the same and that for every recipient, AOL & Yahoo will give a certain amount of money to the benefactor. is this kind of e-mail real

NO WAY.
There is no way for them to trace where is it going. If AOL to other email, perhaps they can. But if the mail goes to Gmail, then Gmail goes to Hotmail.. How would they know it? It's not going through their servers...

Actually once I thought that "maybe" this is some way that spammers harvest email addresses. If you notice, usually an email that has been forwarded many times, it will contain many email address. Moreover, all these emails aren't bogus emails.
What do you think?

Beats me Raymond, sometimes I forward the e-mails if I feel that the request contained in it appears to be true, otherwise I just delete it. I always like to err on the side of caution. If these e-mails are genuine however, then good for the benefectors, but if otherwise, then we have some really cruel bastards out there. Welcome to the real world I guess.
