USB NOT RECOGNIZE

HI

i know it is public problem but it is heppend to me , i have Mdsl usb modem
in my pc and when i pulg my portable usb(external hardsik ) the :o message displayed " usb not recognize" and i try in different pc but still the same problem , my Os windows xp pro with sp2 and it is up todate .

If you've tested your usb external hard drive on other computer as well and don't work, very likely you have a bad enclosure, cable or the hard drive itself.
