i put a password in my admin account, it is the only account on my pc, while the guest account is off. the problem is i can't remove the administrator password now

Go to Control Panel > User Accounts > select your account > select Remove my password.

huh?. Can you login to your administrator account? or did you mean you even can't get in to the account because you forgot the password?.

I think he wants to make the administrator a no need password to login. Since it's XP Pro, just change your password to blank, I think it works that way. Home edition gives the 'Remove Password' option.

This will make is so you don't have to enter a password to login, it will just automatically log you in on startup.
As for removing the password, trying typing in the run box
net user <account> <password>
Account for you would be Administrator.
And if you don't want a password leave it blank.
I think it will work but I can't test it as I am using Windows Vista.
